The correct use of high-temperature adhesive tape for the installation and fixation of solar photovoltaic needs to be carried out in strict accordance with the specifications from pre-construction preparation, adhesive tape pasting operation to final inspection and acceptance. Preparation before construction
Cleaning the surface: use a clean cloth or brush to thoroughly remove the dust, oil stain, water stain and other sundries on the surface of photovoltaic module and the parts where adhesive tape needs to be attached, so as to ensure that the surface is clean, dry and flat, and ensure that the adhesive tape can be well attached to the surface.
Measurement and cutting: according to the actual installation requirements, use a ruler or tape measure to measure the length of the required adhesive tape, and then use scissors or knives to cut the high-temperature adhesive tape into appropriate sizes. Pay attention to ensure that the edge of the tape is neat when cutting, so as to avoid jagged or irregular edges, which will affect the pasting effect.
Selection of suitable adhesive tape: according to the working environment and specific requirements of solar photovoltaic system, select high-temperature adhesive tape with suitable performance parameters. For example, consider the temperature range, adhesive strength, thickness and width of the tape. Generally, the high-temperature adhesive tape used for solar photovoltaic installation should be temperature-resistant in the range of-40℃ to 120℃, and its viscosity should be strong enough to ensure that it can be firmly adhered under various environmental conditions.

Sealing and reinforcement: After the tape is pasted, check the edges and joints of the tape to ensure that there are no gaps or upturned parts. If necessary, additional tape can be used for reinforcement or sealing to enhance waterproof and windproof performance. For the connection parts between photovoltaic modules, cross-bonding or multi-layer bonding can be adopted to increase the sealing and stability of the adhesive tape.
Avoid overstretching: During the pasting process, pay attention to avoid overstretching the high-temperature adhesive tape. Excessive stretching may cause the tape to shrink during use, which may affect the fixing effect and even make the tape lose its stickiness.
Inspection and acceptance
Appearance inspection: After installation, carefully check the adhesion of high-temperature tape to see whether the surface of the tape is smooth, bubble-free and wrinkle-free, whether the edge is neat and whether it completely covers the parts that need to be protected or fixed. Make sure that the adhesive tape is not loose, upturned or falling off.
Performance test: Conduct a simple tensile test or sealing performance test on the installation site to verify the fixing effect and sealing performance of the high-temperature adhesive tape. If you gently pull the fixed parts, check whether they are firm; Water spray test shall be carried out at the parts that may leak water to check whether there is leakage.
