Key factors affecting storage life

Storage environment: the temperature is lower than 5℃ or higher than 30℃, the humidity is higher than 60% or lower than 40%, and the direct sunlight/ultraviolet rays will accelerate the aging of the adhesive layer, embrittlement of the substrate and decrease the viscosity, and greatly shorten the term.

Packing state: The original unopened package can be moisture-proof and light-proof, and it needs to be sealed after unpacking, otherwise the adhesive layer is easy to absorb moisture/volatilize, and its performance will decay faster.

Stacking mode: Long-term extrusion, folding or horizontal placement may lead to adhesion of adhesive layer and deformation of base material, which may affect service performance.

Overdue treatment and suggestions for use

First-in, first-out: Sort by production date, and give priority to the tape that has been in stock for a long time to avoid backlog.

Overdue detection: after the overdue period, it is necessary to sample and test the viscosity, aging resistance and temperature resistance, and it can continue to be used if it is qualified; Cracking, glue overflow and adhesion are prohibited.

Kaifeng management: use it up as soon as possible after unpacking, and seal the rest with self-sealing bags to reduce contact with air.
