Battery envelope blue film

First, the battery cell front-end manufacturing (winding/liquid injection/formation process)

Winding termination and fixation: soft bag, square aluminum shell and cylindrical battery core are wound and sealed, instead of termination tape, the end of pole piece is fixed to prevent the pole piece from being wound loose and burrs from piercing the diaphragm for short circuit; Resistant to electrolyte immersion, liquid injection, liquid leakage, no degumming, no swelling and pollution of batteries.

The solder joint of the tab is wrapped and insulated: the copper-aluminum tab after ultrasonic welding/laser welding is wrapped and isolated from the contact between the tab and the aluminum-plastic film and the shell, so as to prevent the sharp solder joint from breaking the packaging film and leaking liquid, and the energy storage battery cell will not open after long-term charging and discharging.

Aluminum-plastic film edge sealing reinforcement: Aluminum-plastic film edge sealing protection for soft battery cells, blocking tiny gaps in edge sealing, preventing electrolyte volatilization and water vapor infiltration, and improving the sealing performance of soft battery cells.

Second, the single battery shell insulation coating (the core purpose of energy storage)

U-shaped coating on the whole surface of square aluminum shell/blade battery cell: the side and bottom of the battery cell are completely coated with blue film, which isolates the aluminum shell metal shell from the module metal bracket and copper bar to prevent short circuit due to collision; Puncture-resistant, wear-resistant, anti-scratch shell assembled by stacking energy storage modules for corrosion protection.

Cylindrical steel shell batteries are wrapped all over: 21700/32130 energy storage cylindrical batteries are wrapped, and the batteries are bundled and insulated in groups to prevent the steel shells from contacting each other and leaking electricity.

Edge-wrapping protection of battery cells: Blue film is attached to the battery cells at right angles and folding angles separately, avoiding assembly extrusion and cutting insulation, and adapting to severe vibration conditions of large-capacity energy storage containers.

Third, the energy storage Module module assembly scenario

Isolation and fixation between batteries: isolated and bonded with the side faces of adjacent batteries of the module to prevent batteries from squeezing each other during charging, discharging and expansion, and the shell is short-circuited; High adhesion, outdoor energy storage temperature difference between day and night-40~105℃ without warping and degumming.

Insulation sealing of the side/end face of the module: the whole periphery of the module is covered with blue film, with insulation protection+dustproof and moistureproof, which isolates the module from the metal inner wall of the box, and the container stores energy to prevent condensation and leakage.

CCS integrated bus bar peripheral insulation: FPC cable and bus bar are wrapped at the corners to shield the exposed metal of the bus bar and avoid accidental overlapping and short circuit between the bus bar and the battery shell.

Fourth, the whole PACKage of energy storage pack (container/household energy storage)

Local insulation of Busbar: the copper bar is bent, the opening position is covered with blue film, and the insulation protection replaces the lightweight design of some insulation sheets.

Bonding and insulation of plastic bracket and structural parts: battery bracket, foam and epoxy board are bonded and fixed to the battery, giving consideration to the dual functions of bonding and insulation.

Repair protection of faulty battery cells: temporarily cover the battery cells when disassembling and replacing them, tear off no residual glue, and do not pollute the surfaces of aluminum shells and aluminum-plastic films.

V. Special subdivision application

Low-temperature household energy storage: the household wall-hung energy storage battery is covered with all cells, which is resistant to environmental moisture and salt spray corrosion;

Industrial and commercial container energy storage: outdoor power station battery core outer layer protection, anti-day temperature difference aging, water vapor erosion, extend the life of energy storage system;

Temporary protection of working procedure: the temporary protective film of the battery cell before leaving the factory can be torn off before leaving the factory to prevent the shell from being scratched by storage and transportation.

Selection distinction

Thin blue film of 25~36μm: small area paste of tab and winding termination;

50~100μm thick flame-retardant V0 blue film: the whole battery envelope and the whole insulation of modules (the mainstream of energy storage).
